I hate the terms "high" or "low" brass as reference to load. "High" brass is purely a marketing scheme, had nothing to do with the load. It's a relic from paper hull days

I was on the hunt of one of those. They tend to sell for anywhere from 100-500 what is harder is finding one that still works.

Our class was each given one of these Civil Defense kits when we took our History of Nuclear Engineering classes at UIUC in the early 2000’s. Still runs just fine to this day.

I wonder if these can be used just to monitor radiation levels in the air? So not using the wand to scan something , but just to monitor in your yard or someplace.

Hornady 123 grain eld match black box works best out of the 6.5 grendel. Yes, it's more expensive by far. But for sight in the steel case, I will get you on paper.

I picked up mine for $199 with the +2 tube extension thrown in. I figured being a Turkish shotgun there would be some quirks, but for that price it was worth a chance. Plus I saw a video of these three yahoos torturing one of these, trying to jam it, shooting it without the front cover on, throwing it in water and bashing it on a log and it just kept shooting. So why not. Gives me something to play with for not much money and learn something about semi-autos in the process. What's not to like...

Thanks for the review on this shotgun. I recently got the same shotgun. When i went to transfer the shotgun, it was not in a box. It was in a bubble wrap sleeve. I didn't care, for the price I paid I didn't mine. When I got home, I noticed that the charging handle was lost during shipping. I contacted SDS by email. They just needed a good address to mail me a replacement. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. I hope to soon. Anyone know how to remove the stock? I don't want to butcher up this nice stock. I would like to upgrade the stock.

Nice shooting! You can get a rear sight from SDS or Tokarev that fits on it and it really helps with accuracy and sight alignment. I think it is around $30 shipped but it is made of metal not polymer which is nice.

Taking the stock off is quite the process, they should have just used a 1/2 inch bolt head instead of the allen head bolt. It makes it way harder to get off but I previously bought a Hogue Mossberg stock to replace the one it came with so I had to get it off. You can do it with a socket extension and several adaptors with the right allen attachment but it is not easy. You also need to get a 5 1/2 or 6 inch bolt to replace the stock because it comes with a very short bolt.

Appreciate the video - this will be a great resource for cleaning! Not many other full disassembly videos out there that are too helpful. Great Shotgun!

I have one and it is an awesome shotgun for the $ Tokarev makes really good inexpensive shotguns. You can get a +2 and rear sight as well and it is Mossberg stock compatible (I added a Hogue Mossberg stock and its great). No reason to spend tons of cash on a short barreled shotgun that will likely just be used at the range.

Great series on less expensive shotguns. I watched your video on the low-quality of the GForce. Do you think the quality of components with the Tokarev Titan is better than the GForce?

Cap jams still sometimes happen with the Slix a shot cones.

Thanks for the mention bud, yes....these turk guns whether cheap...budget or...the higher end ones, its really a crapshoot.. My weatherby SA08 was a failure also...the gun failed on a hunt..( bolt cracked in half.) And the Op rod bent ( bound action solid) Definitely quality issues. The weatherbys are turk guns now.

A few years ago when I needed a cheap, but dependable shotgun, friends and reviewers endorsed the Maverick 88. It was great advice, it's a solid, no frills shotgun that gets the job done.

Expensive turk guns ive had...my wearherby SA08 semi 12...failed...dealer gave $$$ back...catastrophic failure ( bolt split in half and op rod bent..bound action..churchill 512. 1300$ sxs....JUNK internals fell apart. Buy an 870 or mossberg 500..better off

Mine wasn't as badly made as this one and still never trusted it. I used it as a backup stashed HD gun, but once the stock broke, I replaced it, then retired it to the safe. The old " you get what you pay for " proves true with these Turkish shotguns. Great video series👍

My local gun shop has sold these, and has had nothing but issues with them, they're being returned a lot. I'll stick with my Ithaca 37. You can get some good used pump 12 gauge shotguns cheaper than something like the GF12 and you can get a good used Remington 870, Mossberg 500-590, Ithaca 37 etc.

Thanks for the good info. I'll stick to a Mossberg 88 if I want a cheapish pump shotgun. The one Turkish shotgun I've been tempted by is the $400 Panzer M4 since I'm never going to spend $1,200 on a Benelli M4.
